Come to Corn Days! See how corn was harvested years ago, using teams of draft horses with cutters and binders, wagons, and other equipment. See live demonstrations of horses and antique equipment. Talk to members about their horses, and learn how teamsters harness their horses to work and pull heavy loads.
Admission, parking, and horse-drawn wagon rides are all free. Food and drinks are available on site at nominal cost. Enjoy hotdogs, hamburgers, and baked goods all day long. Both days, visit a Flea Market, Craft Booths, and an Information Booth.
Location: South Waverly, PA, just four miles southwest of Waverly, NY, or less than two miles from Exit 60 on US Route 17. Look for the intersection of Meadow Lark Drive, Mile Lane, and the Wilawana Road (just west of US Route 220 in northern Pennsylvania). Watch for signs at major intersections.
If you want to learn more about draft horses, ask some of the willing, designated teamsters about FREE, on-site, harnessing and driving lessons.
